Frequently asked questions
What is DevKit?
A free WordPress plugin with developer tools: SQL profiler, error log viewer, HTTP/Cron monitor, and database health check.
Will it slow down my site?
No. DevKit only runs for administrators and adds minimal overhead. Profiling is off by default.
Does it work with Query Monitor?
Yes, but we recommend disabling Query Monitor to avoid duplicate hooks. DevKit will warn you about conflicts.
Is WP_DEBUG required?
Only for the error log viewer. Other tools (SQL, HTTP, Cron, Transients, DB) work without WP_DEBUG.
